I can’t believe this year is almost at an end already. It’s like I blinked and missed it somehow. Maybe it’s because I am getting older and time is just getting away from me but I can’t believe we are going to be ringing in 2018 in only 12 days. This year has been a pretty good one though minus a few hiccups. We have definitely been binge watching as a family this year and we most definitely have a great list of titles we love.
There are so many that I didn’t even list and it makes me realize just how much we love our Netflix and this isn’t even including the family movie nights and what my younger kids binge too. Have you got any shows that you have been binge watching at your house that you could add to this list? Don’t forget to download your favourite titles too before you travel so you always have something to do.
Don’t forget that Netflix also has some great New Year’s Countdowns for the kids because we all know that New Year’s with your kids can get exhausting. Fast. While they may think they’re staying up until midnight, little do they know the secret weapon you have in your pocket: Netflix New Year’s Eve Countdowns. With nine countdowns to choose from, you can press play on the night’s festivities whenever and however you want, so they’re off to bed sooner and you can pop a bottle of bubbles—now that’s a cause for celebration. Featuring a cast of faces familiar and new, kids can party with Trollhunters, All Hail King Julien, Skylanders Academy, Puffin Rock, Word Party and Beat Bugs, and new appearances from Pororo, Larva, and True and the Rainbow Kingdom. Not to mention Netflix is making it easier than ever to discover all of the countdowns your family can stream. Starting December 26, search “Countdown” or “New Year’s Eve Countdown” and you’ll find a special 2018 icon added to the Netflix.com/Kids homepage with direct access to all nine videos. We did this last year and it was so great! I had all my littles in bed by 8 p.m. thinking they had rung in the New Year with the favourite friends.
How will you be celebrating the end of 2017 and what are you most looking forward to in 2018?
