Disclosure: This post was brought to you by Fox Home Entertainment and Captain Underpants. I was compensated for this post, however, my boys love Captain Underpants. The opinions are all my own (and theirs).
Captain Underpants is a character loved by my boys for various reasons, all of which have to do with bodily functions and funny names like Professor Poopypants. I mean it’s hard not to laugh hysterically at his funny antics. I find this movie to be cute and funny and perfect for my boys aged 11, 8 and 4. I mean what boy doesn’t think words like poopypants and wedgie aren’t funny?
Spending time with my family is important and taking time to be interested in what they are interested in even if it’s not something I would choose to watch myself means we get to just cuddle and laugh together. Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie follows the adventures of two overly imaginative best friends, George (Kevin Hart, voice) and Harold (Thomas Middleditch, voice), who spend hours in a treehouse creating comic books, who accidentally hypnotize their principal, Mr. Krupp, into believing that he is the enthusiastically, incredibly dimwitted, superhero with no superpowers whatsoever, from their comic book creation, Captain Underpants.
These two kids get into some crazy hijinks and take their unsuspecting principal along for the ride and it makes for a very funny movie night with the kids. I mean with lines like “leap tall buildings without getting a wedgie” has some serious laugh factor to it. My 4-year-old who isn’t reading yet loved this movie from the moment we put it on. His giggles were the best.
The hero edition Blu-Ray and 4K Ultra HD edition are available now and include 30+ minutes of action-packed special features such as “The Really Awesome Adventures of Captain Underpants” Motion Comic and “The Professor Poopypants (Totally Original and Supercool) Guide to Being a Villain. The hilarity never stops. If you are looking for a great family movie sure to bring laughs and giggles, I suggest you pick up a copy of Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie and TRALALAAAA all night long. Buy your copy here or at a store near you!
We try and have family movie nights once a week, how often do you do them with your family?
