My toddler has been using a sippy cup for quite some time, but believe it or not he had some serious issues figuring them out. Some of the cups I did have (from previous kids) had spouts that were too hard or he couldn’t get the liquid out of them no matter how hard he sucked. He still can’t really grasp the concept of the straw cups either but we keep trying because the no leak cups from Playtex are perfect for travel, outdoors and my nice living room carpet. So far with these cups we have had no leaks and now that he had them for a while, he has gotten the straw concept a little, he still tends to tip them up and then they don’t really work but we are working on it.
His favourite cups right now are the Thomas the Train cups with the hard spout. He seems to really like them the best but I think it’s just because he absolutely loves Thomas. If they had Mickey on them he would love those. I do love the fact that Playtex puts great characters and logos on their cups as kids love things that they can relate too.
I do like the cups with the straw as every piece comes apart so that when washing, you don’t have the risk of the spout or straw getting moldy which has happened to me several times with other cups. Even the hard spout Thomas cup also only has two pieces, the hard lid and the inside stopper which also comes apart easily for cleaning. All the Playtex cups are also dishwasher safe.
I have been a Playtex fan since my daughter was born and I have watched their product evolve over the years and become even better than they were 12 years ago. The new Playtex Ventaire bottles are great and now that little man is older and more open to trying to drink from something other than me, I have been trying all different bottles. He still won’t take one really but he will drink a little from these ones. I still have some of the older nursers that are still as amazing to use as ever. I do love the new drop-ins instead of the old style bags though. Playtex baby products will continue to be one of the products I will always have in my house for as long as I have small children feeding or drinking.
I also wanted to mention that I was also sent some diaper genie disposable diaper bags to try out and I will tell you I have now continued to purchase these since. I find them absolutely handy when you have nowhere to throw out a poopy diaper and I also use them at home as I throw the diapers in a bag outside and it helps to eliminate the smell especially with the warmer weather. I now have some in my diaper bag at all times and hanging in the kitchen ready for the outside ones.

Disclosure: I was given the above product to facilitate this review but as always my opinion is my own.
