Having a baby is one of the most amazing things I have ever done and being a mom is the most rewarding job I will ever have, but babies are expensive. I remember how daunting it was when I got pregnant with my first going through the different websites and stores and trying to figure out what we truly needed compared to what I wanted to have. I did register at two different stores on their baby registry but if I am being honest, they were very expensive and I didn’t end up getting very many items off of my lists. I would have loved nothing more than to have been able to register at Walmart as it combines some really great baby brands and products with prices you can afford.
I am a frequent shopper of Walmart, usually ending up there at least 3 times per week, I mean with 4 kids, I am always running out of something. I do most of my baby shopping there as I know I can rely on the quality of their products and the prices are affordable and will fit with any budget. The ability to buy online as well is a huge bonus, especially those first few weeks after baby when going out with baby and all of their stuff really becomes a whole day task for errands that may last an hour. Want to know something else? Shipping is free! So now you can shop from the comforts of home and have it delivered for free.
They also sell some big name baby brands from Storkcraft furniture to Playtex bottles and everything in between. The Walmart baby registry is so simple and easy to use, you will be setup and on your way to picking the stuff you really want for baby all the while saving a ton of money in minutes. Walmart has everything you need for baby!
So now for the good stuff. Walmart is inviting all of you to their baby shower at the Square One, Mississauga location on Saturday, January 17, 2015 from 11:15 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. where they will be talking all things baby. There will be games, giveaways*, refreshments* and by far my favourite part, a meet and greet with parenting expert Alyson Schafer!
Alyson Schafer is a psychotherapist, TV personality, columnist, spokesperson, educator and consultant. She is one of Canada’s most notable parenting experts. Alyson is the resident expert on these national outlets: The Marilyn Denis Show, CTV News Channel and CanadaAm. She is a regular contributor at Today’s Parent, Mabel’s Labels and numerous other parenting portals in Canada and the US. You can visit her website here.
